E-FLO: How to Import Data into Multiple Records Using File Layout with Example code (Doc ID 639508.1)

Here is a simplified example of the behavior you might be encountering.  This example uses the PeopleCode from the auto-generated Application Engine (AE) program.

This File Layout Includes 4 records, Fixed Format.

Using the File Record ID property for each record, we are expecting to see the file layout read from a single data file, and import the data into all 4 records.  The actual result is that only the first record (VA_DUNCMNT_A) is getting populated with data.

The preview in Application Desinger shows the data correctly for all 4 records, but only the first record in the file layout structure is getting populated.

Also, the data that is inserted into VA_DUNCMNT_A is not the same as shown on the preview in AppDesigner. The fields do not contain the correct values.
