Goal
PeopleSoft has supported LDAP authentication since PeopleTools release 8.0 and there have been many changes in the setup and configuration as far as troubleshooting tips, issues, solutions, and workarounds since then.
PeopleBooks does not cover the LDAP setup in depth including SSL with LDAP and Dynamic Role Rule assignment. Customers have requested a troubleshooting document to help them during this evolution of the product.
