Symptoms
An earnings code was set up as not taxable for Federal Withholding but has a Taxable Gross Component set up because it is subject to State Withholding. The Taxable Gross Definition Table had the Taxable Gross Component set up for the work state but not for the resident state.
Example of the set up that caused the error:
- Earnings Code 999 set up as not subject to FWT with a Taxable Gross Component ID of T99.
- The employee lived in MO and worked in NY.
- Taxable gross definition table for NY had the Taxable Gross Component ID of T99 set up as 'adds to.'
- The Taxable gross definition table for MO did not have the Tax Gross Component ID of T99.
