Symptoms

Employee is salaried and has vacation pay. The vacation pay earnings code is set up to reduce regular earnings. This is the key to replicating the issue: the vacation pay is entered on a SEPARATE earnings row of the paysheet, ie, not on the same earnings row as the normal reg salary. When calculated, a reversal of reg hrs/earnings (equivalent to the vacation hrs/earnings) is generated on the vacation pay earnings row. If retro is triggered, the reg reversal is incorrectly calculated. Instead of a negative amount, a new positive amount is calculated, equal to 1 week's reg pay less the vacation pay. The reg reversal hours are also wrong. Instead of the negative hrs, it shows positive hrs representing 1 week's hrs less the vacation hrs.
This processing would be correct if the vacation pay had been entered on the same earnings row as the normal reg salary. In that situation we would want to reduce the week's hrs and salary by the vacation hrs/pay as described above. Unfortunately, this processing is incorrect when the vacation pay and the normal salary are on different earnings rows of the paysheet.
