Symptoms

   We have had several cases in the past two years where customers are first time North American Payroll users and the  PS_YE_W2C_INSTALL table is currently empty.   So when they run the year-end dms this updates, does not insert.  So, the table never gets populated.

We can't deliver this table along with the year-end "new client" dms in Tax Update (XX-E) because if a NON first-time customer run the script, it would cause severe problems for them.  It would wipe out the existing batch numbers, and the W-2c history would be lost.  We don't want to take that risk.  

I would like to request us to put in the Year-End Guide/Notes a step for first time users to check to make sure they have this table populated.  If not, to call the GSC at 1-800-477-5738 to get the table or populate the table from their own Demo system.
