E-NV: Drilldown Fails On The Parent Reports Generated From Output Type to Email. (Doc ID 653345.1)

Symptoms

 Drilldown process fails with below error for the parent reports when generated or run to output type as email.

DrillDown is not allowed for this file. It is generated with no DrillDown Option.
To Enable the DrillDown, re-run the report with EnableDrillDownForFile = 1 in the Process Scheduler Configuration File.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Reporting Tools > nVision > Define Report Request.

2. Select the business unit.

3. Run the report to Email as output type.

4. Download the report from email and run the drilldown.

Changes

Prior to PeopleTools 8.46, it was not possible to Drilldown on these types of reports. They would have to be sent to file or web in order to perform the Drilldown. However, starting with PeopleTools 8.46 and higher, this is possible.
