Goal
Oracle PeopleSoft delivers the latest ISO country and state codes at the time a release becomes Generally Available (GA). This delivered data is essentially sample data because customers can opt to use different sources for this data -- even at installation. Country and State data is updated for new releases or service packs only. This data is not updated for customers once a release is in support development because customers are expected to maintain this data after they have installed their system. That being said, several product lines have posted updates for state and country data between releases for their customers. This is a decision each product line Development team can make.
