EPY: FLSA Earnings After Paygroup Change Not Producing Error 000388 (Doc ID 659022.1)

Symptoms

  Employee has paygroup change, in new paygroup, prior period bonus is entered.    Bonus is reallocated, but overtime (from previous paygroup) is not calculated.      Expected payroll error message 00388, but no errors generated.     Both paygroups have same earnings program and same FLSA calendar.

Error 000388 - Prior period time adjustment, when FLSA is invoked, cannot be adjusted in this paygroup because the time was originally paid in a different paygroup.  To correct:  Turn off the OK to Pay flag on this payline and recalc where necessary.  To pay the prior time/adjustment, you must process an off-cycle paysheet in the original paygroup.
