Symptoms

Customer has a trial balance report that has data showing to 3rd decimal place. Based on research, the data also goes to 3rd decimal place on the LEDGER and JRNL_LN tables.

Data being selected from the LEDGER table for other processing and finding three decimal places for currencies that should only have two decimal positions.

Examples of processes that can be impacted:

Reports
Consolidations
Equitizations
Allocations
Copy journal

We have data out to the 3rd decimal  in the ledger and journal tables when it should not be.
How can we fix it?

When trying to fix from on-line it will not permit entry to the 3rd decimal for this currency code.
