When we place a Learning Solutions pagelet on the Enterprise Portal Home Page, the pagelet takes 30-40 seconds to load. We have been unable to find anything wrong with our nodes setup, and single-links connections to the same LS system work fine.
In our PS Vanilla (Demo) system we re-created the pagelet, and it does NOT have this problem. In DEMO, the pagelet is returned in a few seconds. In DEV system the portal makes a request and it appears that the LS system does return the pagelet info, but NOTHING happens at this point. About 34 seconds later, EP system again makes the request and this time the pagelet is returned and does display.
Our demo system is configured (from a nodes/single signon perspective) the same as DEV. In both systems, the opposing local node is created, and both sets of nodes are trusted. Again, it works (eventually) in both, but DEV takes 34 seconds longer. This is affecting all our LS9.0 systems above Demo. You can clearly see from the traces that there is something very different going on in DEV.
It is also worth noting that in the 34 second "lag time" it appears as if NOTHING is going on. There is no activity in the appserver logs, nothing going on in the webserver logs, nothing in the database.
