When a copy/paste from a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF document is placed into a PeopleSoft field, some of the characters change after the data is saved to the database.  For example, if the specs have feet and inches in symbol (5' 6"), when the text is copied and pasted into PeopleSoft, after the transaction is saved and the transaction is retrieved or printed (SQR process), the symbols are replaced by strange characters.
