ISSUE #1
What is included in DED_CUR. Can you please verify if the DEC_CUR field on PS_PAY_DEDUCTION includes DED_CUR_PAYBK and DED_CUR_REFUND amounts?

SOLUTION #1
Record.field PAY_DEDUCTION.DED_CUR represents current deduction amount on a paycheck.  It is the pay period deduction amount  + arrears payback + one-time deduction.

Example 1:

Pay period deduction = \$50
Deduction arrears = \$10

Record.field PAY_DEDUCTION.DED_CUR would be 65.00 if there's sufficient pay on the paycheck to cover the deduction amount.
\$65 = \$50 + \$10 + \$5

Example 2:

Pay period deduction = \$50
Deduction arrears = \$0
One-time Refund = \$5

Record.field PAY_DEDUCTION.DED_CUR would be 45.00 if there's sufficient pay on the paycheck to cover the deduction amount.
\$45 = \$50 + \$0 - \$5

Pay calculation takes the amounts from One-Time Deductions such as one-time refund and one-time payback into consideration when calculating the current deduction amount (DED_CUR).

For example, if an employee is refunded \$10.00 of KUMED Before-Tax deduction on a paycheck and the employee does not have current pay period KUMED deduction or other one-time deductions, then DED_CUR (Current Deduction) on record PAY_DEDUCTION for the deduction/paycheck will show negative 10.00 whereas DED_CUR_REFUND (Current Deduction Refund) on record PAY_DEDUCTION for the deduction/paycheck will show positive 10.00.

Another example would be that, if the employee paid back \$10.00 of KUMED Before-Tax arrears on a paycheck and the employee does not have current pay period KUMED deduction or other one-time deductions, then DED_CUR and DED_CUR_PAYBK (Current Deduction Payback) on record PAY_DEDUCTION would show 10.00.  In a similar scenario, if the employee has \$50.00 of KUMED Before-Tax Arrears but there's only sufficient fund on the paycheck to pay back \$10.00 of arrears, then DED_CUR and DED_CUR_PAYBK on record PAY_DEDUCTION will show 10.00, and record DED_ARREARS for the KUMED Before-Tax deduction will be reduced by the amount of the payback during pay confirmation.
