E-PORTAL: Homepage Pagelets Not Refreshed After Clicking Home Link (Doc ID 663081.1)

Symptoms

User has personalized the Home Page by adding delivered or custom pagelets.
When user clicks the Home link, the default portal home page is shown, but information in pagelets is not refreshed immediately.
If pagelets are accessed directly i.e. trough custom links in Portal header the pagelet information is refreshed correctly.
