E-IB: Updates to Gateway Log Files "errorLog.html" and "msgLog.html" Not Reflected When Accessing Them Over HTTP Via Web Browser (Doc ID 663751.1)

Symptoms

Integration Broker (IB) gateway log files msgLog.html and errorLog.html on the web server under path like {PS_HOME}/webserv/{DOMAIN}/applications/peoplesoft/PSIGW/ are updated periodically as IB errors or messages are generated. 

The problem is that accessing these files over HTTP at an URL like http://{host}:{port}/PSIGW/errorLog.html and http://{host}:{port}/PSIGW/msgLog.html via browser does not always return the most recent version of these files, it displays the last content of each log file before the service was restarted.

Clearing out browser cache does not help. Recycling the webservice is what appears to get it working again, but after a while it will stop returning the updated file.
