E-REN: Running Report to Window Loops or Flashes, and Report is Never Displayed, when using IE Browser with Trusted Zones Configured (Doc ID 755529.1)

In your PeopleSoft environment, the REN server and Web Server are on different machines.  The REN server ping test is successful.  However, when you run a report to window from an Internet Explorer (IE) browser, the following occurs:
- First the REN window "flashes" or "loops" and you may see multiple url addresses flash at bottom of page. You may also see 'Error on Page' messages flash on bottom of page.
- On some browsers, the flashing may never stop. Or it may get to the 'Queued' Window, but never display the report.  On other browsers, the following IE error message may be displayed:



The report still completes successfully despite the fact that it is not displayed to window, and you are able to view the report via Process Monitor.

Also, you will find that the "Report to Window" functionality runs fine if using a non-IE browser such as Mozilla Firefox.


Use of new browser, or change to existing browser 'security zone' settings
