E-IB: Troubleshooting "Unable To Find a Routing Corresponding To The Incoming Request Message" (Doc ID 762204.1)

Purpose

In PeopleTools 8.48+, Integration Broker (IB) and modules that use it under the hood, such as Feeds, Peoplesoft Test Framework (PTF), etc., certain scenarios trigger the error saying "Unable to find a routing corresponding to the incoming request message", for example:

Scenario A: Sending a messaging Service Operation from one PeopleSoft system to another PeopleSoft system. The operation fails with the error:

Troubleshooting Steps
 A. The receiving PeopleSoft system does not have a matching active inbound Routing for the given Service Operation.
 B. The external alias names for the Service Operation is incorrect
 C. The Service Operation is being sent to the wrong PeopleSoft system.
 D. The Node passwords on the two systems do not match.
 E. The default UserID for the inbound node is not valid
 F. Routing definition data are corrupted.
 G. The Service Operation is not set to "Active" in the target Database.
 H. User's permission list does not have permissions to the service operation.
