E-PIA: Looping GetCertificate Request in App Server Log Causes Account Lockout and Errors: "Your Account has been disabled" [video] (Doc ID 781591.1)

This issue is not Application or Application version specific. This is a tools issue and started presenting in PeopleTools 8.48. It is also an issue in PeopleTools 8.49.

Symptoms

Looping GetCertificate requests in the Application Server log file causes user accounts to get locked when Password Controls are enabled.  When Password Controls are not enabled, then the Application Server log file shows an endless loop of GetCertificate errors.

ERROR

"Your Account has been disabled" when Password Controls is enabled.
