Symptoms
PDF files do not recognize some non-standard true type fonts.
For example:
1). Trying to run a BI Publisher, (XML Publisher), report that includes the bar code font, (3of9.ttf), when previewing the report with PDF format the bar code font is not found.
2). Chinese character is crashed.
This issue can be reproduced by the following steps:
1. XML Publisher > Report Definition - Open the report definition > Select Template tab and then click Preview button.
2. To preview the report with PDF output format access the Output page and select PDF as default format type.
