When saving a second BKS (Book Adjustment) transaction and running the Depreciation Calculation process AM_DEPR_CALC, the following error occurs:
ORA-00001: unique constraint (E881G2AP.PS_AM_DEPR_01_STG) violated Failed SQL stmt:INSERT INTO PS_AM_DEPR_01_STG.
Also, ALL Pending asset transactions which were being processed, whether they had the duplicate BKS rows or not, now have a CALC_DEPR_STAUS value of "I" (In process).
Steps to replicate:
Go to AM > Financial Management > Asset Book Information > Define Tax/Depre Criteria
Step 1: Change trans date to Jan 1, 2009, Accounting date to Jan 31, 2009, SAVE
Step 2:Change trans date to Jan 2, 2009, Accounting date to Jan 31, 2009, SAVE
This created duplicate"BKS" (book adjustment) transactions with the same date/time stamp, but different Trans date. Run the depreciation calculation process AM_DEPR_CALC a unique constraint error occurred:
