CRM: Order Goes on Hold with "Credit Card Authorization Failure - Interlink Error" (Doc ID 800866.1)

Symptoms

Order goes on HOLD with the following hold error:
"Credit Card Authorization Failure. Interlink Error. This error is thrown by the credit card interface while processing a transaction."

- The order cannot be overridden and submitted, as the same error occurs again.
