Symptoms
When running an nVision report that needs to be emailed to users, if the email address list contains more than 128 characters, the email will fail. If the distribution list is populated from the Distribution Detail page, two scenarios can occur:
If the combined length of all the email addresses is more than 128 characters, the user will be kicked out of the system. The "An error has occurred " message will be displayed and requests the user to sign in again.
If the length of all the email addresses is exactly 128 characters, the user will receive multiple error messages upon submitting the request. Error messages including:
Internal Error: invalid transaction handle index passed from SamSetSqlProc: xxxx vs x
Internal Error: invalid transaction handle index passed from AddBufBind: xxxx vs x
Failed to successfully insert the process request. Request not processed. (65,7)
If the length of the email addresses is less than 128 characters, then there is no issue.
