EPY: PYLOAD and problems with SEPCHK field on gross-up transactions

(Doc ID 809043.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 14, 2016

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HRMS Payroll for North America - Version 8 to 9 [Release 8 to 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

1. The PYLOAD process for off-cycle data loads when gross-up option = 'Y' is causing problems for viewing checks online and for reversals.

The off cycle data in the PSHUP_TXN table has values for the SEPCHK field set to 0. When PYLOAD executes, it is incrementing the SEPCHK by 1 until the company or paygroup changes.

2. The PYLOAD process is not correctly updating on-cycle paysheets with the Gross Up and Sep Check values defined on the PSHUP_TXN table (for 9.2 release).
