How To Issue Combination Edit Errors when No ChartField Value Is Entered for an Express Putaway or Material Stock Request (Doc ID 813947.1)

Goal

No Combination Edit error is given when saving the 'Express Putaway' or 'Express Issue'page:

  1. when the user enters a valid combination ChartField values in the 'ChartField Overrides' page,
  2. when no ChartField values are entered in the 'ChartField Overrides' page.

Both scenarios are working as designed. The reason for the second scenario is that users are not required to access the 'ChartField Overrides' page when creating an Express Putaway. This page is optional. If no ChartField values is entered in the ChartField Overrides page, the system takes the ChartField values from the 'Transaction Accounting Rule' page when creating the credit accounting line for the Transaction Group 020 (Putaway).

But how to make the system generate a Combination Edit error for the second scenario?
