Purpose

Customer needs to delete an Employee Record Number (ERN). A specific organizational instance must be deleted for an Employee who has multiple organizational instances. This document outlines how to delete ERN's and some common issues encountered with this process.

 Note : Only JOB related records are affected by the ERN Delete process. If the EMPLID from the PERSON record needs to be deleted, then ID Delete process (Setup HRMS - System Administration - Database processes - ID Delete ) can be used for this purpose.
