E-CI: Unable to Access a CI After Adding/Deleting a Property, or Changing its Underlying Component (Doc ID 945662.1)

Symptoms

When the CI (Component Interface) is accessed from an application, typically the application server (or process scheduler) log has a "PSSession request failed" entry when the application attempts to access the CI as shown in the example below.

 

"PSAPPSRV.8639 (5) [08/11/09 20:18:49 yyy@xx PSSession](1) (NET.346): Failed to execute PSSession request "

 

Or, if opening the CI (Component Interface) in Application Designer, the following error is seen.

 

"The structure of this component interface is invalid due to either invalid format or Component changes (123,6)

Unable to repair Component Interface Structure. Delete and Rebuild (123,8) "
