E-COBOL : Cobol Process Failed With Message "Process Monitor Shows Status of INITIATED or PROCESSING but no Longer Running" (Doc ID 963724.1)

Symptoms

Unable to run any COBOL process on UNIX Process Scheduler .
When run COBOL test process  PTPDBTST , there is error message:

Process Request shows status of INITIATED or PROCESSING but no longer running




STEPS

The issue can be seen by performing the following steps:

1) Login to the problem environment
2) Navigate to the Peopletools > Process Scheduler > System Process Requests
3) Submit process PTPDBTST
