BI Publisher - SBL-UIF-00230 - Unable to run 'Generate Sample XML' for a custom BI Publisher 8 Integration Object (Doc ID 1084733.1)

Having created a custom Integration Object for use with Siebel BI Publisher reporting whenever an attempt was made to run the 'Generate Sample XML' process for it an error would be returned.

It was noted that whenever the "HLS Case Attachment" Integration Component was removed from the Integration Object or it was inactivated then the 'Generate Sample XML' process works without error. Sample XML data can be generated for all other Integration Objects without any error.

When 'Generate Sample XML' was run from the Administration - BIP Reports -> Sample Data File Generation view a popup would appear with the following error message :
