This document provides a quick reference explaining the following Health Check Alert:
My Oracle Support provides a proactive health check that automatically detects and notifies you of the existence of this issue before it impacts your business. To leverage this proactive support capability, install the Oracle Configuration Manager (OCM). Information on installing the Oracle Configuration Manager can be found on the Collector tab of My Oracle Support. To view the full portfolio of health checks available, see Note 868955.1
Verifies the MaxTasks, MaxMTServers, and SessPerSisnConn parameter values are appropriate for the Application Object Manager (AOM).
Improper settings of MaxTasks, MaxMTServers, and SessPerSisnConn is likely to cause instability of the Application Object Manager (AOM) and result in availability, accessibility, and stability issues, including application crashes.
It is recommended that the MaxTasks, MaxMTServers, and SessPerSisnConn values be set to ensure the (MaxTasks/MaxMTServers)/SessPerSisnConn ratio is an integer value. Changes can be made through the Siebel srvrmgr command line interface or through the application GUI via the "Administration-Server Configuration" screen. Example for using srvrmgr> "change parameter MaxMTServers=5,MaxTasks=100,SessPerSisnConn=20 for component SCCObjMgr_enu". Changing these parameter values requires restart of the Siebel server service to take effect. Refer to Document 476830.1 and "Performance Tuning Guide > Tuning the Siebel Application Object Manager for Performance > Best Practices for AOM Tuning > Tuning AOM Components for CPU and Memory Utilization" for more details.
