Web Client Hangs When Pop-Up Applet is Displayed Due to Damaged High Interactivity Framework Active X Files

On 188.8.131.52 a web client hang when adding a new component to a proposal template section. As part of his deployment of Proposal Templates the user adds a new template via Administration - Document - Proposal Templates. He can add the new template name and save the record. He then uses the Proposal Structure Admin Tree Applet on the left of the screen to drill down into the new template to configure it. He configures 3 new sections into the template, and then configures a new component in one of the sections. When he tries to add a new record a popup appears with a selection of standard components; because the component is not vanilla, he selects new again. He then gets the hourglass and the web client browser hangs indefinitely.
The web client was used to connect to an 184.108.40.206 and a version 8.0 Siebel server.
