The issue can be reproduced in a Siebel v8.1.1.x SIA application with the following steps:
1. In view Opportunities > List > Products:
Create an opportunity with two products:
a) A product with Price Type = One-Time, e.g. Xerco2250, Qty = 2
b) A product with Price Type = Recurring, e.g. Residential Inside Plumbing Maintenance, Qty = 1 (note that the product must have flag Sales Product set in order to be part of the opportunity product pick list)
2. Go to the Quotes tab and click on Auto Quote
When the quote is created, drilldown into the quote name.
3. In view Quotes > List > Line Items:
The quote items are displayed for the two products.
Change the quantities in the line items:
Xerco2250, Qty = 4
Residential Inside Plumbing Maintenance, Qty = 3
In the quote header, pick a price list that has both products.
Click on the Update Opportunity button.
4. Go back to the opportunity in Opportunities > List > Products.
The opportunity now has only 1 product:
Xerco2250, Qty = 4, Net Price and Revenue filled from the prices in the quote.
The product with Price Type = Recurring has been deleted.
