Last updated on JANUARY 31, 2022

Applies to:

Siebel eCommunications - Version[21219] and later
Siebel CRM - Version[21219] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
This behaviour occurs when ACR 463 is applied.

Patch with ACR463 applied.

The Validate Due Date popup message is intended to appear when ACR 463 has been implemented and the Siebel application is integrated with Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management through Oracle Application Integration Architecture ("Order To Cash" functionality). ACR 463 introduces method 'InvokeValidateAndProdSvc' in business service 'SIS OM PMT Service' and virtual business component 'SWI Validate DueDate VBC' for this purpose.

The System Preference "Validate Due Date" when set to 1 should prevent the pop up window "MACD - Validate DueDate PopUp Applet" from appearing, as documented in:
Siebel Communications Guide v8.1 > Overview of Siebel Communications > Process of Setting Up an Integration > Setting the System Preferences for Integration

This System Preference setting does not work as expected. The message still pops up.
