Error 'Oracle Rac Is Failing Over' On Workflow And Aom Component. (Doc ID 1215024.1)

Symptoms

A customer is running an Oracle  RAC database cluster. It was observed that the error message "Oracle RAC is failing over" has been logged into a Siebel session log, although the RAC nodes were up and running and no failover has taken place at the specified time.

Within an object manager session an additional database connection (in this example f8cefa0) has been created for the EAI Siebel adapter.

In the session log it can be seen that there was a period of inactivity for this particular database session of more than 60 minutes:
