Last updated on MARCH 02, 2017

Applies to:

Siebel Universal Customer Master - Version 7.8.2.4 SIA [19224] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Contacts are being imported into UCM and an attribute group English Names was created that included the following fields:

First Name ENU
Last Name ENU
Maiden Name ENU
Middle Name ENU
First Name
Last Name
Maiden Name
Middle Name
Preferred Language Code

A new contact was sent from RM and inserted into Siebel. The fields have now been split into 2 groups:

1. English Names

First Name ENU
Last Name ENU
Maiden Name ENU
Middle Name ENU

2. Primary Names

First Name
Last Name
Maiden Name
Middle Name
Preferred Language Code

For Primary Names, the following confidence levels have been specified:

System Name, Confidence Level
RM, 95%
FDI, 85%

If the same contact is sent from FDI, the fields in Primary Names are updated even though the confidence level for FDI is less than RM. How can survivorship be configured so that values provided by RM survive?
