Product Favorites Not Working On 8.1.1.3, Default Instance Not Created, Fields Not Added (Doc ID 1300032.1)

Symptoms


Product Favorites is not working. When adding product favorites under the Administration – Product > Product Favorites List Item applet, the root product is added but child product components are not added. When customizing this product and adding child product component inside the Configurator page, this does not work either. Child product component is not added.

Steps to replicate the issue:

  1. Navigate to Administration – Product > Favorite
  2. Add a product to the Product Favorite Item List
  3. Product with components is not correctly added. No child product components are added. 



Error Messages:
