Goal

This document indicates how to create a new Virtual Directory in Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) for a new Object Manager.

If the web server version is IIS 7.0 or IIS7.5, it should have been installed as per <Document 781428.1> "Siebel Support for Windows 2008".
Regarding IIS7.5, Siebel supports IIS 7.5 (32-bit compatibility) using IIS 6.0 compatibility mode. For more information please refer <Document 1340948.1>.
As per 8.1.1.10, Siebel support IIS7.x in native mode. Refer Bookshelf "Siebel Installation Guide for Microsoft Windows Version 8.1, Rev. D" > Additional Postinstallation and Configuration Tasks > Additional Tasks for the Siebel Web Server Extension and the Web Server
