Information in this document applies to any platform.
After giving a Siebel User a responsibility similar to "Siebel Administrator", this Siebel user fails to access any Server Configuration/Server Management screen view. Errors such the below are displayed.
Steps to Reproduce
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Create a new responsibility as a copy of the "Siebel Administrator" responsibility or just give this new responsibility access to specific Administration views.
- Assign this new responsibility to a Siebel user.
- When this user logs in to the Siebel application and tries to access any screen/view of "Administration - Server Management" or "Administration - Server Configuration" errors such those shown above are displayed.
Due to this issue, it's not possible to give some users access to specific administrative privileges.
