Capturing Source Data and History (SDH) records in Oracle Customer Hub for Child Objects in the User Interface (Doc ID 1321495.1)

Last updated on MARCH 12, 2021

Applies to:

Siebel CRM - Version 7.8.2 SIA [19213] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

<Document 605661.1>: 'Guidelines to configure additional UCM Source Data and history (SDH) Child objects' outlines how to set up additional Source Data and History (SDH) child objects.

Despite following these guidelines, during user interface insert/modification, an SDH record will not be captured for a child insert/modification.

The same thing can be seen in the standard application.  For example, if you modify an Account record (that is associated with a child Address), an Account SDH record will be captured. However, if you modify the Address of that Account, an SDH record will not be captured.
