The customer has installed and configured Siebel on MS Cluster 2008 with Siebel Native LB; have configured 3 Siebel servers, siebelserver2 and siebelserver2 are load balanced and are outside the cluster, siebelserver3 is clustered.

When trying to bring siebelserver3 from cluster. It is trying to come up, but is crashing with the following call stack:

sslcshar +0x2c8fe = SSstricmp() +0xe
siebsrvr +0x11cc = SvcMainEntry() +0xcc
siebsvc +0x12b2
ADVAPI32 +0xf390 = SetServiceStatus() +0x184
kernel32 +0x4d0e9 = BaseThreadInitThunk() +0x12
ntdll +0x416c3 = RtlInitializeExceptionChain() +0x63
ntdll +0x41696 = RtlInitializeExceptionChain() +0x36

When trying to bring up the clustered siebelsrvr3 from the nodes manually going to Control Panel > Services (without starting from cluster) the siebelserver is coming up and has no issues.

It is only when trying from cluster.
