srvrmgr generates log file with one generic error

1) created an srvrmgr script file:
2) ran srvrmgr with the command:
C:\sba811\siebsrvr\BIN>srvrmgr /g localhost /e hor811 /s srvr1 /u sadmin /p sadmin /i srvrmgr_script.txt
=> an error is recorded in the srvrmgr.log file:
SisnapiLayerLog Error 1 000000314d770a04:0 2011-03-09 07:47:51 2968: [SISNAPI] Async Thread: connection (0x119e9b0), error (1180682) while reading message
Apparently the srvrmgr is sending an exit to the serverMgr component but this exits without responding first to the client that initiated the request (the error means in fact connection reset by peer)
However I see no error in the SiebSvc.log (I have also tried with the customer script and I have the same results)
Testing the same script on 7.8.x resulted in no errors recorded in srvrmgr.log file
