What we are announcing
Effective September 1st 2011 Oracle CRM will cease supporting individual JMS implementations as detailed in the System Requirements and Supported Platforms guide and will instead support any JMS implementation that conforms to the JMS standard.
What we will support
Oracle will support integration using the Siebel EAI JMS Transport with any JMS provider that conforms to the JMS 1.02b or 1.1 standards. The Siebel JMS Transport provides supports for basic integration with both Queues and Topics with message types that are specified in the Integration Transports and Technologies guide in Siebel Bookshelf. Customers should consult that guide to ascertain if their use of the JMS Transport falls within these constraints.
What we will not support
Oracle will not support any vendor extensions to the JMS standard except where specified enhanced functionality is released and documented as part of a Siebel application Fix Pack. The Siebel JMS Transport provides basic JMS 1.02b functionality as described in the Integration Transports and Technologies guide in Siebel Bookshelf, the Siebel JMS Transport does not provide access to more advanced capabilities detailed in the JMS 1.1 standard or for any functionality that is not described in Siebel Bookshelf.
