After upgrading system RAM, in an environment where no new SRF has been deployed, the following error is logged in the Siebel Enterprise log file:

[SQL Native Client]Communication link failure error


System RAM has been upgraded and the "TCP Chimey Offload" feature is enabled on the Microsoft Windows server.
