Uninstall And Reinstall CRM Desktop Created Duplicate Contacts

On : 18.104.22.168 SIA  version, CRM Desktop for Outlook
When attempting to test Install-Uninstall-Reinstall of CRM Desktop caused duplicate folder names to appear under 'My contacts' in outlook and the following error is displayed.

"The operation failed"
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps, when user has OST files:
1. install CRM Desktop
2. uninstall CRM Desktop, Control Panel-Remove program.
3. reinstall CRM Desktop
