Siebel Objects Are Not Being Recognized By QTP

When attempting to perform Siebel test automation, it was noticed that Siebel objects are not being recognized by QTP (Quick Test Pro - QTP).
When using Siebel standard srf, the Siebel objects are identified successfully by QTP. However when using custom srf, most of custom objects are recognized as default Windows objects and not Siebel objects.
