Applies to:Siebel eConfigurator - Version 184.108.40.206 SIA and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
(PS = Property Set, IO = Integration Object, ABO = Asset Based Ordering, BS = Business Service, RCOIS = Remote Complex Object Instance service, DB= database)
In V7.8 customer had a custom process to create Order Items:
|RCOIS, SetInstance||load instance via a Siebel message|
|RCOIS, CreateSession||create a session with the rule engine to check the instance against all existing rules|
|RCOIS, GetInstance||get the corrected instance|
|RCOIS, UnloadInstance||unload the instance from eConfigurator|
|EAI Siebel Adapter, method Execute||write the instance into the DB|
This was working perfectly in production as expected. New line items are being created with default attributes/child items
With V8 customer observed following behavior:
- If the same process is executed it only works when running in colocated mode meaning within eCommunications object manager
- When using remote eConfigurator then the customer's process fails by not showing the created attributes on order line item level. Attributes are lost and not shown in the user interface.
