RCOIS Output Propertyset For Remote And Colocated Product Configurator, Attributes for Line Items Missing
(Doc ID 1392446.1)
Last updated on NOVEMBER 22, 2019
Applies to:
Siebel eConfigurator - Version 8.1.1.4 SIA [21225] and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
(PS = Property Set, IO = Integration Object, ABO = Asset Based Ordering, BS = Business Service, RCOIS = Remote Complex Object Instance service, DB= database)
In V7.8 customer had a custom process to create Order Items:
RCOIS, SetInstance | load instance via a Siebel message |
RCOIS, CreateSession | create a session with the rule engine to check the instance against all existing rules |
RCOIS, GetInstance | get the corrected instance |
RCOIS, UnloadInstance | unload the instance from eConfigurator |
EAI Siebel Adapter, method Execute | write the instance into the DB |
This was working perfectly in production as expected. New line items are being created with default attributes/child items
With V8 customer observed following behavior:
- If the same process is executed it only works when running in colocated mode meaning within eCommunications object manager
- When using remote eConfigurator then the customer's process fails by not showing the created attributes on order line item level. Attributes are lost and not shown in the user interface.
