Cannot Read Oracle Sequence - Errors SBL-DBC-00111 and ORA-02289: sequence does not exist (Doc ID 1398892.1)

Symptoms

Customer is trying to use an Oracle Sequence to set a BC field. The Sequence is specified in the 'Oracle Sequence Object' field property.

When create a new record in the BC, the following errors occur:

[1] An error has occurred writing to a record.
Please continue or ask your systems administrator to check your application configuration if the problem persists.(SBL-DBC-00111)
[2] ORA-06550: line 146, column 77:
PL/SQL: ORA-02289: sequence does not exist
ORA-06550: line 126, column 2:
PL/SQL: SQL Statement ignored

The Sequence object works correctly (as confirmed by issuing SELECT statements directly on the database).
