Email over SSL not processed - SBL-NET-01553 (Doc ID 1446979.1)

Symptoms

The customer had two separate Siebel installations 8.1.1.3 and 7.8.2.16. They were both pointing to the same Exchange Server 2007 but different mail boxes. They were both using the SMTP/POP3 mail driver to process inbound emails over SSL v3 on port 995.

Both environments stopped processing emails on the same day at the same time.

The following errors were seen in the log files
