ADM Price List Migration Fails with Large Number of Price List Line Items (Doc ID 1448472.1)

Symptoms


Application Deployment Manager (ADM) is not migrating the Price List from the source to the target environment.  ADM is executed; however, the process hangs without any data migration.

There are over three million Line Items in the Price List that is failing.  Only one Product (Line Item) was added in the source, to be migrated to the target environment.

The same Product (Part #) can be migrated when added to a different Price List that has fewer corresponding Price List Line Items.

The Siebel log captures the following:

After executing over two hours, the log is not complete: the process hangs.   Executing the respective SQL directly in the database takes less than one minute.
