After applying QF0564 it was observed that  attributes are not getting stored when adding simple products.

If Attribute Value Display Name and Attribute Value are different an error  will be displayed similar to the following  SBL-CFG-00162: M is not a valid value for Value.” will be found in the log file:

The default attribute will be created, but neither attribute name nor attribute value is stored in the S_ORDER_ITEM_XA table.

Note that Without the QF there is a similar behavior that does not store the Action Code related to Bug 13505777 and should be fixed with QF0564.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1.) Create an Attribute Definition "BEI Size Att" with enumerated values:
        Value=S, Display Value=Small for ENU
        Value=M, Display Value=Medium for ENU
    Release object.
2.) Create Product Class "BEI Size Class" and add above Attribute, set Default Value=Medium and set it Read Only
    Release object
3.) Create a Product of above Class
    Release object
4.) Got to Sales Order and create a new Sales Order and add above Product
=> in the log file you will see the error: SBL-CFG-00162: M is not a valid value for Value
5.) Go to the Attributes detail view
=> you will recognize that there is no value for NAME nor for VALUE.
