In UCM 22.214.171.124 the following situation is observed:
Event Based events seem not to be considered during a Merge operation.
When using the ‘Merge’ button in UCM (within UCM > Merge Request > Merge button for the new 'Pending Review' record) and having ‘Daily Batch’ configured for Siebel Object (Contacts or Account for example), an asynchronous call is stored and will be handled by the UCMBatchPubSub component.
This component UCMBatchPubSub is not intended for Real time Publish, so once started, it only sends the final record obtained from the Merge operation to external systems.
So, although the corresponding Event Flag is properly set in Pub/sub administration screen, it is not being considered during the Merge operation.
It is expected that the Merge Publish occurs based on the Events Mode setting, regardless 'Real Time' or 'Daily Batch' modes configured for the Objects.
