Siebel ODQ Multiple Mode support does not work when configured as per instructions in DQ Admin Guide. It defaults to the default IIR system (siebeldq) rather than the one defined through configuration of the 'Append xxx Record Type Field 1' field value, as defined in the 'Data Quality Administration > Third Party Administration' view.
For example, if you have:
Append Account Record Type Field 1 = Type
Batch Append Account Record Type Field 1 = Type
such that the parent Account 'Type' field value should be taken, and you have Account types of 'customer' and 'competitor', the subsequent searches should then be sent to the respectively defined 'siebeldq_customer' or 'siebeldq_competitor' systems within IIR.
Obviously, though, you will have also configured the systems within IIR, the 'ssadq_cfg.xml', and the 'ISS Systems Services' Business Service User Properties accordingly to facilitate Multi-Mode functionality.
